This series of promotional posters investigates the visual interpretation of the auditory experience of the music by contemporary composer John Mackey. This project strives to communicate the aural story and themes behind three pieces of his work through typography. Each poster communicates the themes, concepts, and sounds of its piece of music through the visual experience of a promotional advertisement, drawing attention to the stories which inspired these symphonic works.
