A complete print publications system was designed for an exhibition celebrating the joy of life and its many forms as captured through the lens of famed photojournalist Alfred Eisenstaedt. Largely inspired by the rich gray colors of Eisenstaedt’s photography, many shades of gray are used throughout the typography. Paired with a minimalist grid structure and sleek black color, the publications emulate the elegance of the photographic prints while allowing them to remain the primary focus for the audience. By combining this collection of images together in this visual system, an experience which is both reflective and introspective is created.
